UCCM Police Headquarters

CSL has been hired as the Construction Manager, to complete the construction of a new +/- 30,000 sq ft police facility for the UCCM Anishnaabe Police Service on a greenfield site on Manitoulin Island. The new facility will house administration offices, staff lunch area, staff offices, wellness rooms, prisoner cells, gun range, k9-unit facility, storage facility, gym, locker room, meeting rooms, court prep rooms, functional outdoor workspace and cook space, ceremonial space, sacred fire, and extensive landscaping with traditional medicines, and native plantings for the area. The facility will incorporate environmentally responsible design elements including low-carbon and energy efficient initiatives. The project is currently in the pre-construction phase.
