CSL was pleased to be selected as the General Contractor for Phase 3 of the heritage restoration, landscape and site works construction at the City of Brampton’s Alderlea Estate. Alderlea is a listed heritage estate residence constructed in the mid-to late 1800s. It was designed in the Italianate Villa style by noted Toronto architect William Kauffmann on a terraced lot surrounded by landscaped grounds, which now comprise Gage Park.
The objective of this project was to restore, preserve and adapt the heritage estate to provide a corporate meeting centre. In a previous phase of the project, the existing 7,000 sq. ft. heritage home was complemented with a 3,600 sq. ft. addition to provide a state-of-the-art conference facility.
