Centreville Chicopee Site Improvements

CSL was engaged by the City of Kitchener as General Contractor for the Centreville Chicopee Site Improvements project at 141 Morgan Ave, Kitchener — a community-focused initiative to revitalize and expand outdoor recreational amenities for area residents.

Scope of work included the construction of a new basketball court, splash pad, and play area, along with all associated site plumbing to support the splash pad installation and ensure effective drainage and water management throughout the site. A new accessible entry ramp and stairs were also constructed to improve site connectivity and ensure the revitalized space was welcoming and functional for all community members.

A key challenge of this project was maintaining full public access to the community centre throughout construction. CSL carefully coordinated all work activities to minimize disruption to daily operations, keeping the facility open and safe for residents while delivering the project on schedule.
